Hi guys - you've been down to the austral centre in lynbrook? They'll give you a list of all houses with bricks, and you can get sample boxes of 3 bricks, super helpful people there! We got samples of newport & hawthorn (we've going with hawthorn brick). My uncle built a few houses in tyrell st blackburn using canterbury and cotham, so drive past there and have a look!

Ah nice.....there's a Boral Jarrah near our place (drive past it every day and go "thank god we didn't pick them") - funny you should say Austral has samples - we picked up one a couple of weeks ago, and sits here in the lounge staring at us.
We've done the same with Bristile (roof), AVJ Ceramics (tiles) and all the usual colorbond, etc.
We've even painted a piece of wood in the color the walls are going to be - and compare it to what we have now at the rental - and it's nice - not too creamy, not too clinical hospital white.
